FAQs
1. Why are your ceramic pieces so expensive? I can buy them cheaper on taobao!
My pieces are all one-of-a-kind, thoughtfully and carefully made. Most of the cost comes from the material and studio hours and actually might not even cover labour costs! This is a hobby for me and I sell these so that my house wouldn’t be constantly cluttered with pottery. Haha!
I understand that there are cheaper alternatives on taobao. I would like to preface that they are most likely factory-made in large batches to achieve that kind of economical pricing. Please do not be obliged to buy my pieces if the cost is beyond your means. Do what’s best for you. And if you’d like to support a small maker in this world of fast-manufactured pieces, I would love to see my pieces go to a loving home!
2. Why do the ceramic pieces not look identical?
You are purchasing a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic piece, and so, subtle variation in size and colour is to be expected from order to order. Colour and size are photographed to be as accurate as possible but may appear slightly different from screen to screen. Please read the specific dimensions listed for each piece because some of my pieces are smaller than others.
3. Can I commission customised ceramic works?
Yes you can! Just contact me through the form and let me know what you would like me to make for you and we can work on a pricing and timeline from there.
4. How do I get the e-book after making my purchase?
An email with the download link will be sent to you after your payment has gone through and order confirmed. Please check your junk mail if you still do not receive an email from me after a day.
